Birthday Rant
Another birthday just ended. A lot of unusual thoughts pass by on days like these, but one questions sticks to mind: What do you do when you're married to someone who doesn't love you? That in itself could still be subjective. One could argue that you are indeed loved, but you just don't feel it, or the other party just doesn't have the capability to let you know, or feel that love? I'm sure a lot of people have asked themselves this question. It's a cliche -- stay together for the Kids? That's why I got into this marriage in the first place - that's a -1 for me i guess. I was already a step into the grave from the get-go.
So it comes back to the first question. What can you do?
1. Try to make it work, communicate, all that hoopla. Try to be more understanding, think positive..
2. Try to entertain or divert yourself away from what pains you -- I'm sure this is what gets most people into bigger trouble - in worldly means at least.
3. Finish it, let go -- but can you deal with the consequences?
4. Pray and let faith lead the way
I'm sure I might regret even thinking some of the thoughts, as history has taught me that the Birthday depression brings up a lot of old baggage that should've been discarded a long time ago, but I do hope this becomes some sort of therapy, allowing myself to look at things from a different perspective while keeping a record of thoughts passed.
